Rules for the Acceptance and Selection of Submissions
Submissions for publication in the journal are accepted throughout the calendar year, in accordance with established deadlines.
Together with the submission, the author must provide an electronically confirmed declaration regarding the originality of the work. Submitting a work to the journal itself constitutes the author's agreement that, if published, the work will be distributed under the CC BY 4.0 license — a separately signed document is not required for this purpose.
The selection of submissions is carried out on the basis of double-blind peer review, in accordance with criteria approved by the editorial board. The confidentiality of the identity of both the author and the reviewer is protected.
Each submission is reviewed by no fewer than two independent reviewers; in the event of substantial disagreement between reviewers, the editorial board invites an additional, third reviewer.
As a result of the review, one of the following decisions may be reached:
– Acceptance of the work without changes;
– Conditional acceptance of the work, following the author's consideration of the reviewer's comments;
– Rejection of the work.
An author whose work has been rejected has the right to submit a written request to the editorial board for reconsideration of the matter (an appeal), if they believe that the decision was made in violation of procedure or without due regard for material circumstances. The editorial board reviews the appeal within no more than 10 (ten) working days of its submission and issues a final decision.
