The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools is permitted at auxiliary stages of work on a submission (e.g. language editing, grammar checking, stylistic improvement of the text); however, the author is obliged to disclose this fact in the methodology section of the work. The use of artificial intelligence to generate the substantive content of the work, the research results, data analysis, or conclusions in a manner that replaces the author's independent scientific contribution is not permitted. Artificial intelligence is not considered a co-author of the work, and its use does not relieve the author of full responsibility for the content of the work. If it is established that the use of artificial intelligence has been concealed or improperly declared, this will be regarded as a violation of academic ethics, and the response procedure set out below will apply.

If the person alleged to have committed an ethical violation (plagiarism, concealment of the use of artificial intelligence, data falsification, or other) is a member of the academic, visiting, or administrative staff of Tbilisi Humanitarian University, then, upon confirmation of the violation, the editorial board is obliged to notify THU's Research Ethics Commission for further review and disciplinary response, in accordance with the University's Research Ethics Code. The response taken by the journal (correction, retraction, refusal to consider future submissions) is independent of, and does not replace or substitute for, the outcome of the University's disciplinary proceedings.
