– Supports the Editor-in-Chief in developing and upholding the journal's editorial policy.

– Participates in decision-making in disputed, complex, or conflict-related cases — including the review of appeals, complaints, and suspected ethical violations.

– Monitors the quality and consistency of the review process.

– Protects the confidentiality of works under review, and of authors and reviewers.

– Periodically reviews and, as necessary, updates the journal's ethical policies and procedures in line with evolving international standards.

– Ensures that every member of the journal has a clear understanding of their ethical obligations.
